Creative AI on the rise: video, voice and ethics lead 2026 searches

AI ethics, video generators and voice detectors are among the fastest-growing searches — with the same enthusiasm and the same caution in Brazil and the US.

While companies compete for generative AI video and voice, Brazilian and American users are typing the same questions into search engines: what does this technology do, where does it fail and who is accountable for it?

The August 2026 trend list places AI ethics, AI video generators and AI voice detectors among the fastest-growing searches (Exploding Topics, Aug 2026). The interest reflects fast adoption: in Brazil, the IT market grew 18.5% in 2025 to US$ 67.8 billion — above the global average of 14.1% (Invgate, 04/05/2026) — and generative AI tools already appear in the lists of the most-searched trends by Brazilians (Fast Company Brasil — Google trends).

The common thread in both countries: enthusiasm for creative AI comes with caution. Debates over image rights, use in political campaigns and the reliability of machine-generated content have gained ground both in the US and in Brazil — and should shape regulation and corporate decisions in the second half of the year.
